I was made redundant a few months ago from my job as a factory worker and it really hit me hard. I've got 2 kids and I've never been out of work before, I'm determined to get back to work as soon as I can. It's been a long time since I left school and I'm a bit rusty when it comes to using computers, so I decided to take a positive step towards getting back into work by taking an ICT course. I'm studying the NCFE Entry Level Certificate in ICT and it's been brilliant - I've never really used a computer before but my tutor has been really patient and helpful.

Working towards the NCFE Entry Level Certificate in ICT has really helped me stay positive and I feel like I'm being active in improving my skills and chances of getting a job.
